9/12/2023 0 Comments Pcsx2 for mac high sierra lagPCSX2 v1.5.-gf0d08aa7d which I got from Orphis. However, the game still couldn't see any saves in it. I then changed the inserted card to the "_converted" one to see if it will load the save. (Will add the log as an attachment.) I checked the memcards folder and it did indeed create the Folder-type card. Then, when I tried to convert the card to a Folder-type, the emulator gave me a stream of error messages in the log. I did some Googling, and a user said to check if the card is set to "Read only". Just in case someone mentions that.Ģ) To help others who may experience the same issue. Note: I used that card for years, with the same game. Been a few years since I last commented on here.ġ) I encountered an issue while trying to load my Persona 3 FES save file from a 64MiB card. Will I be able to run PCSX2 smoothly on this PC one day? Maybe, will I make my PC able to run this emulator if I play a bit with the settings? Or do I have to change PC if I want to live old memories? Can you tell me if is impossible for my pc to run PCSX2 in a playable way? Here are the technical specifications: Maybe, I thought, my pc is not able to run pcsx2 I'm not sure about this, but it's what I want to find out. But, unfortunetly, nothing changed between 2 versions! I haven't noticed any improvement from the version 1.4. This problem has occured since the first time I downloaded the emulator, in the 1.4 version, but these days, as you of course know, the new 1.6 version came out and I hoped the problem would have been fixed. Now, let's go to the point: PCSX2 lags too much and it's not playable. Hello everyone, I'm not English so there could be some language issues, and I'm sorry for that. Internal resolution: 3x native 1080p (frame still drops even on 720p and native ps2 res)Īnisotropic filtering: 16x (makes no difference if on or off, frame still drops)ĮE is always around 30 to 50 ish, depends on which area of a game. Render: Direct3D 11 hardware (still framerate drops even on OpenGL) Graphics settings (the framerate drops still persist even if the graphics are the default setting) This can happen during an FMV or gameplay, it's completely random. The only games I have are all the Shin Megami Tensei games and nothing else. Whenever I play, the games for the most part are always a constant 60 fps and smooth, but at random times drops down to around 50 fps for a second before going back up to 60 and being smooth again. I'm having an issue with all of my games on PCSX2. I really need your help to run my PCSX2 in the most effective way, lag free on audio and video would be a dream come true. (T he rest of the Emulation Settings is on default. PCSX2 1.2.1 run on Parallels Dekstop on Macbook Air 11 It runs on high graphic but slow/lag in audio, and sometimes slow in video. I am playing PS2 iso game (such as Persona 4 and Harry Potter Quidditch World Cup) on Parallels Dekstop application on my MacBook Air (11-inch, Early 2015). The only output i see in the terminal now is "Restarting First Time Wizard" and it repeats every time i press next. Failed to create a temporary file name (error 2: No such file or directory) usr/games/PCSX2 -fullscreen -nogui %ROM%Īfter launching the emulator the first time wizard pops up but it just restarts when pressing next. I've added the following into emulation station to list the menu option and launch the emulator So I'm running retropie with the emulation station front end on ubuntu server 18.04 (no desktop) and it's working great.
